Howdy Journal. 

I know I haven't been updating since my birthday, mostly because it's been a busy/boring/mundane/annoying/weird two months. Two months. I can't believe how fast this year is going. I mean, in THREE MONTHS (and about two weeks) I will be done with school/sixth form/college. And then................I have.....the long long long long summer before uni. I am so scared....mostly because time is running out for you-know-who to do anything about me...us...whatever. I'd love for him to have an sudden epiphany and realise that if he doesn't do something soon, we're going to be separated for four years...and maybe longer...but it doesn't look like he will. He still flirts with Kate as much as he does with me and they seem so similiar it's hard to see how he could choose me over her.

We have our Art trip to London in a week or two (March 24th) and I'm hoping something will happen then. 3 1/2 hours on a train there and back, and since there are only 5 of us in the Art class now, we'll probably be left to roam free for a few hours.... Hopefully it'll be fun whatever the outcome of the situation...it was last time, and then had my retainer and my middle parting and looked a lot worse, he still payed a lot of attention to me. (If anyone is interested in what happened last time, see calendar Dec. 7th 2004, sometime around then.)

School-wise, everything's coming along okay. Art I'm doing best in, or so I feel. I'm starting my final piece this weekend, which is just on schedule, I think. I'm catching up on reading for Eng.Lit. after a brief two week lapse, and I'm enjoying it, which is helpful. I love the WW1 poetry, both the uber-patriotic and starkly realistic ones create some beautiful/terrifying imagery. For French, I think I'm going to do okay...tho' I have to get going. I have coursework on the french resistance (1000 words) and a mini essay about alcohol (300 words) to get done (the essay first) but I haven't done much buckling down recently, so I need to use my free periods for more than jkust sleeping/going on the computer. (This doesn't count. It's Saturday, aka My Day Off).

There's nothing much more to update you on........my exercise regime that I'd planned kind of crashed-and-burned, but I'm hopefully going to start up the weekly swimming asap...when I can find an hour or two to do it in during a school day (it's quieter then). I have however, given up chocolate for Lent (don't tell anyone, too much pressure) and have made it 11 days, which is definitely a record! So go me! I'm going to buy myself a big bag o'popcorn to celebrate! Mmm--mmm. My i pod is working fine as well, although it has got a few scratches on the screen. I say it just gives it character. Ha ha.

Anyway. Now you're updated, right? Oh wait, my provisional driving licence was meant to be sent off for last week, but Mum insisted my hair was too messy for me to take the photograph on the day we'd plan to do so, so, of course, no licence yet! Boo. 

Now I'm done.
