Haven't updated for a while, so I thought I would. The Cambridge thing didn't go through (apparently I'm only expected to get an ABB at best, which isn't bad but it's not for Cambridge...)...(or Oxford)....anyway, the application is all done and all I want to do until next year is bury my head in the sand about it and not think about it at all. I'm pretty sure I'll end up going next year but the thought of it is exhausting...

Um...we might be getting a new dog. We're going to the pound place to look at a 12 week old called Deefer (mum wants to change the name - Nelson, Napoleon or Hendrix?) tomorrow and Sunday with Jasper to see if they get on, and if we like him. I hope we do...he's really sweet looking...but I'm nervous about the whole idea really. Just because he won't be as intergrated into our family (Vicki won't know him) and we'll all be gone by the time he's Jassy's age...hmmm. I don't know. I'm gonna go shopping at the same time...pop to H&M to grab some bargains or just another plain T-Shirt...*shrugs*

Hopefully our Amazon package is coming tomorrow. It has some stuff for Dad but also a Disney Piano Book for me and "The Journey to the Centre of the Earth" book. I want to start playing the piano again, just as something to do, and the only way I ever know how to play anything is if I know it really well, and most Disney songs are embedded into my brain never to come out again, so I'm gonna try that out. I already have one of their piano books and taught myself how to play at least two songs, so hopefully with the newer one I'll know more.

School is crazy at the moment. Well, I found how crazy it was today, it suddenly seems like I've been buried under a pile of books...as well as reading The Bell Jar/One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest/Othello at the same time, now for the synoptic paper we have to read around as much WWI literature as we can (which I've already started to do) but that morning I'd found out that the Journalism is on the 13th of December, which is less than a month away and very very frightening. And the French coursework is due in just before the Xmas holidays (luckily we've been given a lot of notice)...so it seems the only subject that isn't nipping at my heels is Art, which I'm really really enjoying at the moment. I hope the Journalism exam doesn't coincide with the London Art Trip...I'll kill someone if it does. I'll also kill somebody if I don't pass my Journalism, because it means I miss out on SIX MONTHS worth of Friday lie ins. I really really really need to do some exam practice. It's coming naturally to me at the moment...well that or I'm totally on a roll when it comes to the quality of it. Okay, let's stop the college rant.

To be honest, there's nothing much else apart from the above ^^^ going on in my life at the moment, as usual. I'm looking forward to the Harry Potter movie's opening - it looks really good, and me and Katie have already made plans to go and see it together next week, which should be fun. It's all quiet on the social front tho', which is very sad for someone who's going to be 18 in less than two months. Oh geez. I shouldn't have reminded myself. That birthday is just going to be a monument to all the things I haven't done.
